Bill Stone, wearing a MK5P rebreather with redundant ("offboard") oxygen and diluent supplies, prior to the support dive to retrieve the DWM on June 19th. Notable features of the MK5P are the dual, front counterlungs; the gas control block, which allows access and switching among all 4 gas supplies; and the "Brick" computer management system. The Brick is actually a redundant, completely isolated feedback and control system. The back half provides a direct digital display of oxygen sensor readings; the front provides an interactive LCD that permits both data display and programming of the rebreather.
